TROIDES
MIRANDA
In North and South Sumatra Troides miranda inhabits the mountains,
while in Borneo it is known from the lowlands up to 300 m altitude.
Very little is known about miranda in Sumatra. Tsukada & Nishiyama
(1980, 1982) mentioned it to be present on the steep slope between Bandaru Baru
and Brastagi, where it flies above the canopy, descending to visit coffee and
Cledodendron flowers.
