Worldwide distribution: NW Africa, Europe, Asia Minor, Siberia to Kyrgystan,
Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
Subspecies in Norway: G. r. rhamni.
Recognized subspecies: G.r.rhamni (Linnaeus, 1758) - North and Central Europe to the Pyrenees,
   Alps and Macedonia, Caucasus Major, West Siberia
