| Distribution in Norway: | Small colonies in SE Norway. Possibly extinct from the localities |
| west of downtown Oslo, in Vestfold and Østfold. | |
| Notes: | C. hero is declining in Norway due to the change in its habitats. |
| Modernization of the agriculture, establishment of camping sites and | |
| golf courses, as well as development of recreational areas are the | |
| main threats to the species. Hansen, L.O. (1993) proved that the | |
| very moderate collecting that takes place does not pose any threat to | |
| C. hero in Norway. | |
